There were about 12 of us dining yesterday. The food was excellent and the service friendly and timely. I had the coconut curry rice bowl with veggies. The spice level was perfect. Just enough to enhance the flavor and not overwhelm it. The peach cake. Yum! Not too sweet. As Arnold once said, "I'll be back."
We made reservations here for a family celebration and were delighted. We had cocktails and the crab dip to start. Then enjoyed wine and a variety of main course meals. Our friendly waiter boxed up our desserts to go, as we were too full to eat another bite!
Their version of chicken cordon blue was so good. And the potatoes were cooked perfectly crispy. Green beans cooked with a nice crunch, not overdone. Cocktail was so flavorful yet boozy! Husband's burger was cooked to his liking with crunchy onions. Service was quick but gentle and kind. Atmosphere was nice, calming.
Iron Rabbit Restaurant & Bar is my go-to spot for amazing food and friendly staff. I love seafood, and the Drunken Sailor is by far my favorite dish on the menu. The Rancher Burger is also a great choice. Everything I’ve tried here has been delicious, and the welcoming atmosphere keeps me coming back.
I'm from out of town and visited for the first time. I was concerned when I saw the prices, since they were higher than what I was expecting, but oh my gosh it was so worth it. I got the Western Burger. My son got the chicken strips. My wife got the pasta. Each were a 10/10. Due to the pricing I don't think I will make it out here as much as other restaurants, but I will absolutely be coming back when I want a quality meal.
I'm not sure why we haven't stopped to eat here before. Will definitely be back to try more menu items! Update: visit #2! Another delicious meal-fish & chips & chicken marsala-plate licking good!
The waitress was the cherry on top of a delicious meal. The Poutine Who was great, the curry bowl had flavor and the black and blue burger was top notch. The outdoor seating was quiet and perfect for our small group. Although we had to arrange the seating because it wasn't designed for a group of 5, we made it work, and the waitstaff were great about it!
We were expecting to host another couple that had to back out at the last minute, but that was our gain. I had the lamb burger and upgraded to the polenta fries. The fries were excellent, burger was tasty, but really messy. My wife had the curry with shrimp added, it was a good curry with a hint of citrus. Service was excellent, but it was a snowy day and that reduced traffic.
Hadn't been here in years. Had no problem finding parking and getting a table. Was greeted entering the door of the bar. We ate in the restaurant area as it seemed less busy. We had a cider and a beer. Lots of good options on the menu. We decided on the flat iron steak and a black and blue burger. Very happy with both. Steak was a good cut and cooked as ordered. Our food was a bit pricy but totally worth it. Our server, Kristi, did a great job.
Outstanding food. Interesting selections and combinations. Just wish the plates were bigger!
